Gentle on Tiny Tummies
The type of sugar and protein found in goat milk is similar to that of cow’s milk. So while goat milk is not appropriate for children with diagnosed cow’s milk allergy, goat milk foods may be better tolerated by children with certain sensitivities.
Goat milk proteins form a gentler curd in the stomach and are broken down faster than cow’s milk protein. For children who have digestive or skin problems associated with cow milk consumption, goat milk formula and goat milk products may be an alternative.
